TOPIC: Village at the Park Townes

Looking forward to your thoughts on the new Village at the Park Townes near RTP/55 in West Cary. How does it compared to the other new townhome projects in West Cary.

We decided against this new construction for the following reasons:
1. No pool in community, no kids park, no activity center.
2. Absurdly high HOA fees ($110) with exteriors'/roof maintenance not included. All they do is mow the lawn and clean the central water runoff
3. Even the basics are an upgrade, the base price tags are misleading you'll spend a lot more to actually get the house into a basic livable space.
They are selling so fast they didn't even bother to create a model house, which were initially planned but dropped coz they were able to sell without it.
Overall we realized we got little value for the money put down.
PS: This is my personal opinion.
