TOPIC: KB Homes vs Pulte

i am started looking into homes, and thinking between KB home and Pulte. Can someone suggest ?

Pulte is better than KB. Check out Holland farms by MI homes in west cary. MI Homes is kind of favorite in our community. MI has good construction quality and they give 30 yrs structural warranty.

Hi Raju, though your question looks simple, it is a loaded one. It is not fair to answer in one word either. The best thing for you may be to sit with an experienced Realtor who has many buyers living in homes built by both these National builders (2nd & 7th in the US by revenue) and who get first hand feedback about their homes. Pulte and KB homes have high end and low end homes, quality of the homes mainly depend upon the standard construction features of the community. Following are the few major difference in construction features between Cedar Bend community from KB home and Highcroft from Pulte.

Cedar Bend is on Crawlspace foundation while homes in Highcroft is on Slab foundation.
20 year warranty roof shingles in Cedar Bend while Pulte is providing 30 year warranty roof shingles in Highcroft.
KB is providing Carrier heating system in Cedar Bend while Pulte is having Lennox heating system in Highcroft.
