TOPIC: Moving to North Carolina - Charlotte or RTP?

Hello all, we're planning to move from Ohio to North Carolina in summer 2017. We're looking for your inputs, in deciding to move to Charlotte or RTC.
It became a much more complex exercise than we thought

We have the following considerations:

Quality of Public Schools for Children (Currently in Middle School)

Options for Near by State Universities

Availability of homes in the $500K range

Good Vibrant Indian Community and Safe Neighborhoods (Looking for suggestions on neighborhoods)

Jobs in IT and Finance

Crime rate

Airport and Ease of Business Travel
