TOPIC: Driver License Renewal/Transfer from out of state

Please suggest the steps required to transfer out of State Valid Driver License to NC.

You need to take a signal and vision test in the DMV office. Below original documents need to be carried.

1. Passport with visa
2. Petition copy with I94
3.SSN
4. Two address proof (Insurance, finance institution mails, utility bills, rental agreement etc)
5. Insurance ( which can be used as one address proof)

Is the OT referring to out-of-state D/L transfer or overseas D/L transfer? Needs to be clarified.

Definitely you will have to go through vision test and signal test.
Written test and road test depends on the officer judging your ability.
Also you need to have liability insurance for NC State. You can check with any insurance companies or agents, they can provide you.
