TOPIC: Medical Transcription

I need information about Medical Transcription courses around Raleigh. How is job market ? How long is the course ? Is it worth time and effort. Thank you in advance.

Job market is not good as a lot of doctors are directly recording on a voice mail that is retrieved in India and word documents are sent back. Further decline in expected with electronic medical recording as doctors will directly feed the information in a computer/laptop using a menu driven system. That is my opinion based on exploring the market but I am no expert in this area so please double check and check other sources.
