TOPIC: How many days to get SSN

I am a student, got my EAD, does any one know how long does it take to receive the SSN once applied?

I got my SSN when I was in California.. Its just that I went to SSN office and they checked my documetns and SSN came in mail in 10 days.. But nt sure about NC..
