Do you know anybody sending their kid to Davis Elementary? I want to know if Indian kids adjust well and are able to make friends with American kids also since the number of Indians there seems to be slightly less compared to Cedar Fork.

Appreciate any help!

The number of Indian kids is slightly less and you are concerned. What experiences or knowledge do you have that led to this question? What do you mean by Indian kids? Indian Indian kids? Or American Asian Indian kids? What do you mean by Americans? Indians? Blacks? Whites? Hispanics? All of them? What is your definition of "adjust well"?

What an apt name you have! Obviously this question is not for you. I would rather wait for a reply from someone who is not so slow :)

There are plenty of Indian kids in DDES inlcuding mine and quite a few friends I know. The kids and parents are both happy with the overall school, staff and the environment there. And, Yes, they do "adjust" really well :)

And if I may suggest, perhaps this country is not for you. :)

Please do let yours kids integrate with other american kids.
Also not all Indians kids or parents are nice.

So let kids come out of their conserved space.

I am more proud to be Indo-american rather than Indian. :-)

Unfortunately, as evidenced by the paper dosa type of thinking, people think they can live a cloistered life in the USA. I can only imagine the state of the dosa if her/his kid got schooled in the bible belt.

I love metaphors! Which one is CFES and which one is DDES? With all this metaphor masala, now you will plainly get a much worried paper dosa.
