TOPIC: School admission - Cary/Morrisville

Hi All,
I am having H1B Visa and planning to move to Cary/ Morrisville.
I want to bring my children (age : 4 years now) to here on June 2012,and want to get school admission for them at Cary/Morrisville.

I would like to get the following information.
1. Which public schools are highly rated in this area?
2. Which public schools are having considerable Indian student population?
3. What are the documents required to get school admission(Children are born in India)?
4. When does the school term begin?
5. What are the points to be considered other than above?

1 & 2. Wake county schools in Cary and Morrisville are good. Davis Drive Elementary, Cedar Fork are some of the good schools and both have considerable Indian student population.
3. Check out www.wcpss.net/ for requirements on what is required.
4. School year start around August 3rd week

There r good public schools in wake county.and nice apartments too with good Indian community. We moved recently in cross timbers ,and there r 2 schools which have school bus stop in the apt community.carpenter ele &green hope elementary.both schools hv good Indian population.

Schooling starts at age 5 years over here. You can enroll your child in Preschool (or Pre K) which are pretty much pvt and have a monthly tution fee.
