Approach very carefully. As the question you asked some already mentioned some URLs for info. Good.
On the other side, if you are from India, you should be very careful as IPC 498A might be waiting once you apply divorce here unless it is mutually agreed.

Even that is no biggie. Google Clinton, Nikki Haley, etc.

Ofcourse biggies have to do to retain their biggy position. If this guy is a biggy, then he need not post in the forum for advise

This 498A clause has been misused by many bride side families. I hope you must have heard horror cases of this law. It can easily mess up your USA status. Pay heed to Kedar's post. recommended readings, google for "how 498a ruined my life?"
