TOPIC: Green card - I485 - Medical exam I693

Hi Guys,

My attorney is applying for I485 in the green card process.
But they need a medical exam done (using form I693).
This has to be done only through a civil surgeon and it's very expensive.
I would like to know if anyone has any sort of information to get this costs reduced/reimbursed through insurance company ?
There is also a clause of vaccinations.
Without a record of vaccination, (which i pressume would be common amoung us Indian adults) - there is an additional 200 per exam for extra shots/test to prove we are immune.

Please advice.

I am also in the same boat. With Triangle Family Care, P.A. it cost around $415 for each. This includes Physical, TB test and immunization test.

Is any one else changes less?

415 is very expensive.
plus with triangle family.. they don't accept credit card for all the expense..
only the initial small amount can be paid by credit card..

Do you suggest any doctor around triangle?

if you complain about cost now, how much more will you complain at citizenship?
