There is a dinner meeting tomorrow with Steve Rao. It's organized by Manzoor Cheema and it is open to every one.

I am planning to ask following question. Please suggest me some more.
1. How do you plan to get more jobs to Morrisville?
2. What kind of experience do you bring to the job?

Instead, IMHO, you should ask - How can ApnaTriangle help him win this election?

This one question covers a lot of ground:
a. Does he need any help with funding his campaign?
b. Does he need any volunteering help?
c. Does he need any help with raising awareness of his campaign?

Steve Rao is a good man, a gentleman - one of the few Indians in local politics. I had the pleasure to volunteer for his campaign when he was running for the Wake County Board.

Picking up 26th Oct 7PM to 9PM for Indian community, the prime Time for the most celebrated festival, shows Steve Rao's sensitivity towards Indian community.

Obviously Steve did not realize Diwali though Obama did.

His date shows his and his volunteers' planning skills. It is disappointing.

Politicians are readily available before the election. The big question: Is he going to be available after election if he wins? We all know the answer. Big NO.

Well, I know Steve for about 4 years through TIE Carolina's. I believe he will be available after the election to help. I am more interested in the political process and be part of it instead of being ignorant.

I met Steve yesterday and offered my help. He has endorsement from both Republican and Democratic candidates. Early voting ends on Monday, and he is requesting folks to vote on this Saturday itself.

Please consider casting early voting this Saturday of you can not vote on election day.

Please consider voting your favorite candidate to make your voice count.

He will help you feel good you participated in a democracy. Now get over your obsession and help secure a representation for Indians in the local government. This is not about helping your kids get into MIT (Morrisville Institute of Technology) or Hogwarts. If you are an eligible voter, and are genuinely interested in finding out more, give Steve an opportunity. Meet him and ask your questions.

I am very much interested in participating in the political process. Most important thing is to show up to influence people to do what we want. Politicians will work with us only if we are willing to do, and remind them of our power by casting vote, and educating them on what we want... Please consider talking to candidates, and perform your civic obligation by voting.
My 9 year old son is excited about Steve after meeting him. All I want my son to feel that he belongs to a vibrant community, and he is part of mainstream American political process.
