Hi

My in-laws are coming into town and we are looking to get some desi-tv for them. We will be moving to Cary in couple of weeks so perfect opportunity for us to switch from Time warner, which does not seem to have any desi tv channels. I noticed that dish & direct Tv have some options for hindi & malyalam, which is what we need. Which of these providers do you have? & how much do you pay for it? (Correction: Direct TV does not have malyalam but I would still like some feedback on them).

Also, they want Amrita TV, which apparently is only available in the US through "tv-desi" website (you can also get a box to transmit it through your TV). I have had no luck contacting those folks. Has anyne had any experience with this provider... how is their offering/transmission/service? Would you recommend them for Amrita TV or for otehr packages they offer?

Thanks,
Anu

Hello,
You might want to try skydesi.com (which is what i use) or go for digitalstreams.tv and then if needed you can use a roku box

Anu, Last two months we are watching Surya via Roku box. 15$ per month. We have time warner cable and also we have netflix subscription. Quality is good and so far no trouble.
