TOPIC: need to find an amusement park - please suggest

Hi,

I need to find an amusement park. I've been living here for 3 months, but have no idea which are the best ones. I am looking for one with a lot of rides. I live in Durham. Does anyone know of any?

I found 'King's Dominion' in Richmond VA and Carowinds in Charlotte. King's dominion seems to be expensive. Please suggest me the best one.

We recently went to Busch garden, VA. It was pretty good with rides/shows. There are 3 high/scary rides (Grifon, Alpengeist, Mach Tower). They have a few good shows 4D/Horror, Seasame rides/shows. Currently they are offerring 2-day pass at price of 1-day pass. Due to Halloween season, they have few additional Horror shows/rides.

We recently got relocated to nc.
So got no idea about amuse park. But did visit kids museum and the nc zoo. Really superb places. The first about 15 miles from morisv. And the latter about 80 miles. Both r wort while places
