TOPIC: honeymoon destination

Hai everyone..can u guys plzz suggest some place for a small honeymoon on this coming long weekend...itz our first honeymoon after marriage...

Honeymoon destinations are always about personal likings.

What kind of honeymoon destination would you like to go

Would you like to mix some sports like hiking,biking, boating or white-water-rafting on your honeymoon?

Would you like to rent a cabin in the hills like Blue Ridge for a romantic getaway with some walking trails, water streams - enjoy a hand-in-hand walk in the woods? Most of these cabins also have hot water tub, fireplaces etc for that perfect evening!

Would you like to combine some thrill (like roller-coaster rides) on your honeymoon? Check out www.carowinds.com/ or www.emeraldpointe.com/

Generally speaking there are good beaches closeby but they'd be very crowded this weekend. Although most places/hotels will be sold-out at such a short notice.

Hope other ATers can give you more specific destinations based on their experience or if you reply with your likings.

She needs small honeymoon for this coming long weekend. She is in USA, going to Kashmir will be too stressful.

All I think is Mountains, book some grand cottage near lake in jungle and realax.

- Myrtle (4 hrs)
- Wilmington (2.5 hrs)
- Virgina beanch (3 hrs)

Sanju is right. Every place is crowded during July 4th and the hotels are very expensive.
