Monday's main program will be Jalaadhivaasam.

Jalaadhivaasam is immersion of Murthis in water (Jala). It is believed that water cools and purifies the Murthi. The carving of the stone produces countless sparks of fire and the Murthi needs to be cooled. Also there is powdery mixture which needs to be cleaned.
