Navarasa Classical Dance Competition: Raleigh, NC (January 26, 2019)

In Indian Classical dance theory, 'Navarasa' refers to the nine dominant emotional themes of a dance piece and is the primary feeling evoked in viewers of said dance. NC State University's Navarasa is tremendously honored to be hosting college students from across the nation who will come together to showcase and celebrate their Indian classical dance heritage all while raising money for CRY America, a non-profit that works to make sure children around the world have equal opportunities. The competition will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 5:30-9pm at NC State's Stewart Theatre in Raleigh.
