Calling Indian Actors: Raleigh, NC (January 26, 2019)

Regional actors based in the Carolinas are invited to audition for the Burning Coal Theatre Company. The director Sonia Desai is being flown from CA to direct this unique play about an Indian migrant woman striving to hold on to her roots in a foreign land.

Burning Coal Theatre Company will hold auditions on Saturday, January 26, 2019 between 10 am and 4 pm for Sue Townsend's play The Great Celestial Cow. Auditionees will be provide sides from the play to read from. Schedule a 10-minute audition timeslot at the website listed below.

Auditionees should bring two copies of their picture/resume if they have one. If not, then a resume and a recent picture of yourself would be fine. Singing and dancing skills a plus but not required. Auditions will be held at Burning Coal Theatre Company, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC.

Casting for the following:
-six female actors of Indian subcontinent descent ranging in age from late teens to 60s.
-one male actor of Indian subcontinent descent late teens to late 20s.
-one male actor of Caucasian descent 35 – 55.
