Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra is the Chief editor of Vibhom Swar, a quarterly Hindi literary magazine, published from USA & India. She has published 30 books and contributed to 50 books. Last year, she was awarded "Dr. Maturi Satyanarayan award" by the Honorable President of India at an award ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

Cross-Cultural, Romantic-Comedy SPICES OF LIBERTY
Proves That Love is a Dish Best Served Hot!
(Raleigh, NC) Director Gowri Goli’s acclaimed romantic-comedy, “SPICES OF LIBERTY,” will launch to theaters across the U.S.A., beginning with a pre-release premiere engagement at the Carmike Park Place 16 in Morrisville, North Carolina on Friday, Oct. 21. The film will expand its release to reach more than 30 major markets beginning Oct. 28, through distributors Medallion Releasing and Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE).
“We’re very excited to be working with Gowri and Supriya Goli on this Indian-American release,” said Eric Parkinson, C.E.O. of Hannover House. “We were introduced to the film at the recent Cannes Film Festival and immediately recognized its strong commercial value as a cross-cultural comedy. We are appreciative of the support from Carmike Cinemas and enthusiastic about the premiere launch in the greater Raleigh metro market. We feel the film has a broad audience appeal, so we are looking forward to the subsequent expansion in October and November into major cities across the U.S.A.” he continued.
“Spices of Liberty” stars Suhasini Reballa, Ajay Kumar and Prakash Patil. Principal filmmakers include Gowri Goli and Supriya Goli for Priya Creations. The film captures the love story of young Indian couple in America and the challenges they face in their long distance relationship. When unlikely circumstances bring them together Radha (Suhasini Reballa) and Krishna (Ajay Kumar) are able to explore this blooming relationship. When a friend from Radha’s childhood, Venu (Prakash Patil), moves to town jealousy invades Krishna’s thoughts. As Krishna’s paranoia drives them further apart, the couple struggles to keep their mangled relationship afloat.
Combining the ancient Indian Scriptures with modern American 'Freedom and Equality' philosophies the couple is determined to mend the cracks in their relationship. This new age American film has the perfect twist of Bollywood cinema, leaving you wanting more and proving that “love is a dish best served hot!”

Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra has been selected to receive "The Padambhushan Dr. Maturi Satyanarayan award" for 2014 by the Central Hindi Institute, Govt. of India. The award was announced at a press conference held at Press Club, New Delhi on April 24, 2015 by the Director of the Central Hindi Institute, Professor Mohan. This award is given to a person of Indian origin for promoting the Hindi language abroad through written work of exceptional quality. The award consists of Rs.100,000, a Shwal, and award certificate. The award ceremony will be held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi & the award will be given by the Honarable President of India.

On Nov. 1, the Utter Pradesh Hindi Sansthan announced their awards for the year 2013 for the Indian languages work being done in India and Abroad. The selection committee selected Research Triangle Park based Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra for "Hindi Videsh Prasad Samman. The award is the highest in Hindi language and consists of Rs 100,000 cash and air fare.
Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra also received another award in Hindi literature from a literary organization " Spandhan" based in Bhopal. The award consists of a "samman Patr" and Rs11,000.
Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra is a noted Hindi writer, poet and editor of Hindi Chetna, the only Hindi quarterly magazine published in North America. She has 11 books to her credit and her writing contributions are part of >35 books and more than 200 magazines!
