The Akshaya Patra Foundation is one of the oldest mid-day meal NGO in India. With the vision, “No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger’, Akshaya Patra has been serving nutrition-rich meals to children in government schools since the past 18 years. The mid-day meal is a strong determinant for children from challenging backgrounds to attend school.
