Join Rotary

Opportunity to join Rotary by starting a Rotary Club for Indians.

Rotary is big in India and getting bigger. Rotary is well known for service and for what it has done to almost eradicate Polio from the world and it has been eradicated from India. Rotarians are involved in a number of service projects both here in North Carolina and in India. North Carolina Rotary has undertaken a number of projects benefitting India, and some of these projects were initiated here by people of Indian origin just like you. There are lots of opportunities for projects to help Indian villages.

Rotary is an organization made up of 1.2 million like-minded members worldwide who believe in fellowship and service. Find out more bout Rotary International at Rotary.org.

My father was a charter (founding) member of a Rotary Club in Rajkot. I am the district governor 2017-18 responsible for 47 clubs in our district, check us out at www.rotary7710.org or visit our Facebook page Rotary District 7710.

We need to have Indians (and Pakistanis) to be involved in the local Rotary district by:

• Joining a Rotary Club, We have 46 clubs in Raleigh, Cary. Apex, Morrisville, and other towns and cities.
• Start some clubs e.g. a Saturday morning club in Morrisville, Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Wake Forest, and other areas with 25 of your friends
• Form a satellite club with 8 to 10 of your friends sponsored by one of our existing clubs.

Then on your next trip to India attend a meeting or as many meetings as you want.

Network in any of our 46 district clubs, in any of India’s 34 districts, or wherever your travels take you to within the US or anywhere in the world.
